Agilent Technologies Fabless/SCM Services Program
Need: Promote the advantages of a new fabless services portfolio aimed at design and test facilities.
Solution: Developed an online brochure using a “winning” theme, with visual and corresponding written metaphors built around track and field sports.
Hewlett-Packard Nimius
Need: Develop a modular, collateral package to promote the launch of online banking solutions in the European market. The only written information available consisted of technical specifications. The project required extensive interviews with the business marketing and engineering teams, and development of a consistent data sheet template.
Solution/Results: After multiple interviews with teams in Switzerland and India, Michelle developed the creative platforms, datasheet template and content for a package of 11 technical data sheets, an overview brochure and a customized services brochure. HP received very positive customer responses to the collateral, increased its visibility in Europe and secured several new accounts.

Hewlett-Packard Powertrain Development Tools
Need: Develop an overview brochure to serve as the written centerpiece for the launch of a product targeted for the automotive market.
Solution/Results: Copy had to be written and finalized within one week. Michelle developed the content and envisioned the diagram that clearly showed how the complex software tool worked. The first draft copy was so well-received by the client that only minor changes were made to the original draft. The brochure was featured in a launch at a premier Detroit auto show. (Agency Client)
McAfee Service Provider Program
Need: McAfee sought to promote to its partners a new program that would enable them to provide extra value to their customers by offering an outsourced security solution from McAfee.
Solution: Developed an online brochure that highlighted the benefits of partnering with McAfee.
Professional Broadcast Network (PBN)
Need: For the launch of a company, create an overview brochure that could be used primarily as an introductory piece distributed at seminars, as a sales force “leave-behind,” and as a follow-up piece to sales calls.
Solution: Developed a gate-fold brochure with content that focused on customer challenges, solution benefits and PBN’s unique capabilities and experience.
San Jose State University
Need: Attract greater numbers of applicants to the College of Engineering by conveying why San Jose State’s COE is a preferable choice for high school graduates and transfer students.
Solution: Developed a “mod” looking brochure that focused on engineering opportunities using the theme “I Can.” Contend centered on examples of what various SJ State engineering students could or are achieving and used actual student photos.
ShareData rebranding campaign
Need: The company was losing market share to its nearest competitor due to co-opting of messages and brand “look.” ShareData wanted to pull away from the competition and regain its substantial market lead.
Solution: In conjunction with a branding agency, Michelle developed a series of mailers focused on why ShareData products were superior to the competition. Mailers focused on specific products and their benefits, why customers chose the company and customer survey results. As a result of the repositioning strategy, ShareData regained market share lost to its closest competitor.
